More than 30 UI employees from the Chicago area took part in a day of community service to improve the Newberry Center. This facility is part of the Marcy-Newberry Association, which seeks to assist community members in resolving problems, improve and strengthen family life and aid the community in its development and improvement. UI employees spent the day painting walls, creating "Get Active" murals, constructing and staining benches, weeding garden beds and planting flower boxes.
