Elis joined the UI team in July 2008 as the Regional Property Manager for UI East, where she oversees the daily operation of numerous senior housing properties in northeastern Pennsylvania, including the management and maintenance of the properties and compliance with HUD and other governing authorities, regulations and requirements.

Elis has more than 40 years of experience working in healthcare and senior services as a Registered Nurse; Program RN; and Assistant Vice President and Housing Manager for a not-for-profit provider of rehabilitative, vocational, home care and residential services. She is a past member of the Lackawanna County Aging Coalition and current secretary and board member of the Lackawanna County American Heart Association.
