Monica has been involved in real estate since 1996 working with investors, public funders, municipalities, developers and other stakeholders. As General Counsel, Monica is responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and providing senior management with effective legal advice on implementing and executing company strategies.
Monica received her law degree from the University of Oregon and after three years as a municipal bond attorney, transitioned her specialty to affordable housing. She has been involved in all aspects of real estate practice ever since. Monica also served as Vice-Chair of the Oregon State Housing Council from 1996 until 2001.
