We have now earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating for our entire 1MM+ SF commercial portfolio through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The 12 buildings awarded the achievement include: 212 W Superior, 222 W Hubbard, 300 W Adams, 445 N Wells, 300 W Hubbard, 306 W Erie, 314 W Superior, 325 W Huron, 372 W Ontario, 440 N Wells, and 444 N Wells in Chicago, as well as HUB640 in Milwaukee.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating that focuses on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement, and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.

We have installed Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization units throughout every building in our portfolio as well. These air-purification devices effectively improve indoor air quality by releasing charged ions that attach to and deactivate harmful substances like:

  • Airborne particles from viruses, including COVID-19

  • Smoke

  • Dust

  • Mold

  • Bacteria

  • Odors
